Heyri - art village

After an afternoon of riding horses and then a special lunch (photos elsewhere on this blog) Shinyoung and I were dropped off at Heyri - a large area with tons of different places that make up an art village of sort http://www.heyri.net/contents/english/e_profile.asp

Our first stop was Neverland - Picture Book Museum, which I actually thought was the main place in Heyri (I was obviously wrong and very confused).

After experiencing Neverland we left to look around in Heyri.

Shinyoung had something she wanted to show me and it was home of the Dalki - a cartoon - and it means the strawberries.

All this stuff is poop! Yeah, for some reason one of the characters is obsessed with shit...

The jacket is actually not hers, it's her mother's and she got it because it was quite cold when we were dropped off and Shinyoung only brought a thin jacket.

Yeah, Lego!

A Dalki poster.

These tanks are standing outside so many restaurants with various fish and sea animals (creatures...monsters?) to indicate the freshness of the food. However, to some people (including me) seeing these kinds of animals don't necessarily stimulate my appetite;-)

These heaters were standing on the side-walk outside of a restaurant so it's apparently normal to just let them cool outside where people pass by. Something which couldn't have been done in the US I'm sure.
